GaN technology

Until now, silicon has been used to manufacture the semiconductors inside the charger. By replacing it with gallium nitride, the components can be arranged closer together, thereby reducing the size of the device. Importantly, the performance of the GC PowerGaN 65 W mains charger has been maintained. The use of GaN technology also guarantees low energy loss and protection against overheating of the charger.

Intelligent charging

Power distribution enables the connected devices to be charged optimally. Depending on which port you are using, the mains charger adjusts the charging power to provide you with the fastest and most favourable power supply. For example: when charging 3 devices simultaneously, the GC PowerGaN 65 W will distribute the power to three independent ports: USB-C Power Delivery 30 W, USB-C Power Delivery 18 W and USB-A Ultra Charge 18 W, so you can charge your ultrabook, phone and headphones at the same time.
