The REDUNDANT NETWORK IRIS/SIMPO module is used to build an Ethernet network between Teletek Electronics’ addressable IRIS, IRIS PRO, and SIMPO panels. This module offers the following features:

• The module allows for up to 64 fire detection panels to be connected and provides a standby backup communication line between panels.
• Communication between panels is achieved using the RS 485 protocol.
• The maximum distance between two modules in the redundant network is 1 km.
