The TOWER-20AM PG2 is an advanced outdoor detector designed to provide superior detection performance while minimizing false alarms. Its innovative Octa-PIR™ technology allows it to distinguish between human movement and environmental factors like tree swaying, bushes, and small animals, ensuring reliable alarm activation.
The detector features patented V-Slot® technology, providing exceptional protection against vandalism and tampering. It also offers flawless masking protection and utilizes black mirror technology to resist false alarms caused by strong sunlight or car headlights.
With its wireless technology, the TOWER-20AM PG2 is ideal for installations in areas where wiring is difficult. It offers a detection range of 12 x 12 meters with a 90° coverage angle, making it suitable for various outdoor applications.
The TOWER-20AM PG2 utilizes a unique patented technology based on eight independent PIR detectors that monitor eight different sections of the area. The True Motion Recognition (TMR) algorithm analyzes motion information from each detector, considering factors like time, amplitude, background temperature, speed, size, and position. Based on this data, the central motion processor determines whether an alarm should be triggered, ensuring accurate detection without false alarms.
The TOWER-20AM PG2 features a solid design with V-slot window technology and mirror optics, resulting in a relatively small detector opening and increased resistance to environmental changes and impact. The combination of elliptical-parabolic mirror optics further enhances its performance.
